Kindred is designed to help families organize homeschooling, household management, scheduling, goals, habits, and family activities.

Beta Applications
If you submit a beta application through our website, we collect your name, email address, and your application responses.
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:

- Password and authentication information
- Subscription or account status
Family Information
Account holders may create and manage family profiles. Information may include:
- Family member names and nicknames
- Grade levels
- Educational information
- Family schedules
- Household planning information
User Content
You may create, upload, or store content including:
- Assignments, lessons, and curriculum information
- Calendar events
- Goals and habits
- Notes and meal plans

Family Data Ownership
Families retain ownership of the content they create and upload to Kindred. You grant Kindred a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

- Cloud hosting providers

- Email delivery providers
- Calendar integration providers (e.g. Google Calendar)

These providers may process information on our behalf. Connecting Google Calendar is optional. When connected, calendar data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy in addition to this policy.
Data Storage and Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. Deleted information may remain in backup systems for a limited period before permanent removal.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.
Children's Information
Kindred is intended for use by parents and guardians. Children do not create accounts independently. Parents and guardians manage all family data, including information entered about minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
